CV Preparation

The very first impression you will make to your future employer, in most cases, will be your CV.

Employers will generally scan the CV, paying the most attention to the first half of first page and  make the decision whether to interview or not within seconds. So it is vital you make the right impact, quickly and professionally.

Layout.

  • Put your name and contact details on your CV.
  • Put your most recent position at the top, with the month, year and company name.

Make sure it makes sense. A complete stranger will be making a judgement on it

Always spell check and grammar check!
