Wine Sponsorship Development Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for the development of our product and expertise. Liaising with our sponsors and seeking out new partnerships for the acquisition of product for the tour, this role requires a confident individual with a flair for business and a genuine passion for wine. The Wine Sponsorship ad Development Manager will also need to manage the business financials surrounding product acquisition and consumption levels to commercial advantage. This is a senior position within the company and reports directly to the Managing Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between client and our existing major sponsors ensuring that the interests are maintained, whilst meeting the expectation of the sponsors
  • Liaise with our retail partners on the supply of product and day to day landlord tenant requirements
  • Prepare exciting and creative proposals to attract new sponsors at all levels for the tour
  • Support the monthly events with sourcing of product
  • Liaise with Restaurant Managers to ensure sponsor involvement in all restaurants and report to the Managing Director
  • Liaise with events department to keep them up to date on sponsorship department activities
  • Monitor revenue versus consumption and product spend levels to the advantage of the business
  • Ensure that all available product resources are accounted for, protected and reported on and stock taking undertaken as appropriate
  • Oversee the administration of sponsor wine rotation, including tasting notes, and the education of staff
  • Contributing to Strategy and Meeting Business Objectives
  • Contributing expertise and vision to marketing and development meetings
  • Support the Managing Director in promoting the business mission
  • Share product knowledge and expertise to inform marketing strategy
  • Focus on business development analysis and evaluation to play a pivotal role in business planning
