Manager

Job Purpose

Efficient management of restaurant, maintaining consistently high standards of service and exceeding customer expectations at all times. To effectively manage all aspects of the business for which responsibility is held, to operate and maintain the unit to ensure that performance and profit is maximised whilst ensuring that all company and brand standards, policies and procedures are adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Total responsibility for the recruitment , training and retention of the Front of House Team
  • Complete responsibility and the ability to provide top skills in customer care and the highest standards of service – both in style and warmth – within a high volume environment
  • Working alongside the Head Chef and the kitchen team to ensure the quality of the food and its delivery are to the highest standards
  • Cost controls, meeting and beating targets and budgets
  • General Maintenance – security, cleanliness etc
  • You will need to have significant experience within busy high volume and mid market restaurants – with at least 2/3 years relevant experience; including at least 2 years experience of managing high volume busy sites. London experience preferred but not essential.
  • You will need to have a track record of providing the highest standards of service both in style and warmth – within a high volume environment and the ability to provide top skills in customer care and the highest standards of service
  • To have a track record of working within a multi cultural environment and able to demonstrate totally diplomacy and tact at all times
  • To have had suitable experience in the supervision and controls of labour cost, liquor controls, overheads and a track record in meeting and beating targets and budgets. (Good working knowledge of Word / Excel)
  • Some knowledge of Home Delivery Service –an asset
  • A total professional Manager with an eye for detail in every aspect of the restaurant
