Food Quality Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the standards of presentation of food and training of staff in production and control of wastage and costs at unit level

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To plan and monitor all aspects of unit level food production including: staffing levels, stock levels and rotation, food cost, quality control and recipes adherence
  • To ensure all production staff are trained
  • To compile, monitor and record all documentation as required
  • To assist in the development and presentation of training programmes for food handlers and to work with staff at new units during the initial opening phase
  • To compile monthly reports on subjects such as wastage, costs and training
  • To develop spreadsheets for unit managers that allow them to monitor said areas
  • Reporting and monitoring any maintenance issues, to assist in staff training and development, to work with all chefs from all departments as part of an integrated team, to assist in the control of GP, ensure highest standards are maintained at all times
