Job Purpose
To ensure that the contract is managed efficiently, whilst still ensuring the business meets its financial targets and key performance areas and delivering the highest quality service to the client.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the Management team, communicating the operational plans so that they understand and can deliver the area targets
- Coach and develop the team to build a pool of talented managers and a robust succession plan
- Manage the resourcing of contracts, initiating recruitment and allocating managers to units
- Support the delivery of operational changes through explaining business requirements and implementing practical plans in the area
- Implement the client review process and ensure that feedback and improvements are acted upon to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
- Lead the development of senior client relationships and national / high value contracts to ensure effective co-ordination across the country
- Review regional customer trends and ensure that operational managers implement plans to deliver customer satisfaction
- Ensure that all legislative and operational policies are implemented to provide a consistent, timely and safe service and product
- Support the creation and implementation of account plans to retain and grow existing business
- Identify and develop new opportunities across the delivery channels to deliver targeted growth
- Support the sales procedure for new business, attending sales presentations and signing off operations capability to deliver
- Manage the contract financial performance to exceed the area meets its financial targets
- To manage the account effectively as a whole and to be the point of contact and the reporting heads of department, including the onsite Finance Manager
- List any capital or revenue budget, which you are responsible for, numbers and grades of staff reporting (and their grades) and any other relevant statistics, e.g. number of units, turnover, etc. relevant to your position.
